I'm going for a haircut and find myself in a large reception area which led to two different hairdressers. First went to one, looked nice, price wasn't bad. Returned to the middle area,I'm sitting down and then I'm petting a white fluffy cat which then bites me in the knee. It was so painful, I then try to push it away but afraid it may attack me again. I wake up...

It sounds like a dream of new beginnings to me.
The haircut represents your yearning for change, for a clean fresh new start, but you didn’t get the haircut, you went back and sat down.
I think the fluffy white cat is your inner self-consciousness, telling you it is going to be too hard and difficult for you to change what you already have. And sitting down in the ‘middle area’ might represent a safe area like ‘sitting on the fence’ where you don’t have to choose, you can just let things happen around you.
But then you tried to push the cat away, suggesting you don’t want to just let things happen around you, you want the fresh new start. It’s just that there is that fear that’s holding you back.
I think if you can overcome that initial fear is that’s holding you back, you can be all that you want, because you already wanted to push the cat away you just have to build the courage to actually do it.
It does sound like I sort of want a change but I'm afraid...
